Dimensions: The maximum body length is 210 cm (usually up to 1 m), and the weight is up to 40 kg.
Where they live: They live in near-surface waters up to a depth of 100 m. It lives in the Sea of Japan, the Tatar Strait, the southern Kuril Islands and the Sea of Okhotsk.
Shelf life: butchered cephalopods – no more than 18 months; Storage temperature - no higher than -18 °C.
